With an undeniably beautiful voice that will send chills down any spine, Damien Ifedayo Olalusi is an eccentric musician who believes that music is the food for the soul and thus, must be garnished with depth.
The singer, music producer and prolific writer said this while expressing his love for deep lyrical content in music.
Originally from Ekiti State and born in the late 80s, Damien, having experienced a rough and challenging childhood due to the passing of both of his parents, discovered his love for music at a very early age.
Music quickly became his means of easing his pains and passing across his message.
In 2008, he started spending more time around studios just to expand his knowledge in music all the while, holding down a job as a casual worker at the Nigerian Bottling company in Lagos Nigeria.
He was eventually able to write his first song titled “Cast my Cares” that same year but it would not be until 2015 that he was able to record. In the same year, he officially started his music production career, and there was no turning back from that point forward.
Damien did not disappoint when he released his first album titled “Breath” in October 2019, and we have it on good authority he is about to do it again, only bigger and better with his new body of work.
